Life preservers is a socially engaged work that was performed in the streets of Cologne, by five women modelling dresses the artist designed for climate change.

Life preservers plays on an amusing imaginary double bind of the extremes of climate change:  to fill the plastic bottles festooned on the outer layer of the dresses, would be good for drought, but would make one sink in the event of a flood, and vice versa.

This work includes a series of photographs and sculptural works.
